Melinda M. Maxfield

Melinda Maxfield joined Williams & Jensen in January 2007 and became a Principal in 2010. Ms. Maxfield has represented a variety of Fortune 500 companies before Congress and the Administration on commerce issues, including federal approval of mergers and acquisitions.

Prior to joining Williams & Jensen, Ms. Maxfield served as deputy Finance Director for the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee (DSCC) under the leadership of Chairman Chuck Schumer (D-NY). Ms. Maxfield served as the DSCC’s liaison to Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid and the Democratic leadership team.

During her time in Washington, Ms. Maxfield has also managed the PAC and Grassroots programs at the General Electric Company. In addition, she was Vice President of Campaign Finance Consultants for over five years where she worked with a wide range of Democratic Senators as well as other Democratic House members.
