This Week in Congress

Senate: The Senate confirmed Howard Lutnick as Secretary of Commerce, Kelly Loeffler as Administrator of the Small Business Administration, and Kash Patel as Director of the FBI. They passed the FY25 Budget Resolution (S.Con.Res.7).

House: The House was in recess.

Trump Administration: President Trump continued to sign Executive Orders including Expanding Access to In Vitro Fertilization, Ensuring Accountability for All Agencies, Commencing the Reduction of the Federal Bureaucracy, and Ending Taxpayer Subsidization of Open Borders. 

Next Week in Congress

Senate: The Senate will reconvene on Monday, February 24 and is expected to continue processing nominations including Daniel Driscoll to be Secretary of the Army and Jamieson Greer to be U.S. Trade Representative. 

House: The Senate will reconvene on Monday, February 24 and is expected to consider the House FY25 Budget Resolution (H.Con.Res.14).
