Senate: The Senate passed H.R.1, the One Big Beautiful Bill Act (OBBB).

 

House: The House concurred with the Senate amendment to H.R.1, OBBB. 

 

Trump Administration: On June 30, President Trump signed an Executive Order entitled “Simplifying the Funding of Energy Infrastructure and Critical Mineral and Material Projects.” The Order fosters interagency coordination for energy and critical mineral project funding. He is expected to sign OBBB on July 4.  

 

Next Week In Washington

 

Senate: The Senate will reconvene on Tuesday, July 8 and is expected to continue processing nominations including Under Secretary of Energy, Administrator of the Federal Aviation Administration, Director of the Office of Personnel Management, and Deputy Administrator of the Small Business Administration.  

 

House: The House will reconvene on Monday, July 7 and are expected to consider the Undersea Cable Protection Act (H.R.261), the National Coal Council Reestablishment Act (H.R.3015), the Promoting Cross-border Energy Infrastructure Act (H.R.3062), and the Promoting Efficient Review for Modern Infrastructure Today Act (H.R.3898).
