House: The House was in recess.

Trump Administration: President Trump signed an Executive Order entitled “Deploying Advanced Nuclear Reactor Technologies for National Security.” The Order directs the Department of Energy and Department of Defense to take steps to deploy advanced nuclear technologies including artificial intelligence computing infrastructure and national security installations to support national security objectives.

Next Week in Washington

Senate:  The Senate will reconvene on Monday, June 2 and is expected to continue processing nominations including Under Secretary of Defense for Acquisition and Sustainment, Undersecretary of State for Political Affairs, Assistant Secretary of Defense, and Administrator of NASA. They are expected to consider the GENIUS Act (S.1582).

House: The House will reconvene on Tuesday, June 3 and is expected to consider the SUPPORT for Patients and Communities Reauthorization Act of 2025 (H.R.2483)
