Senate: The Senate will reconvene Tuesday, September 2 and is expected to continue processing nominations. They could also consider the fiscal year (FY) 2026 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA).
House: The House will reconvene Tuesday, September 2 and are expected to consider the FY26 Energy and Water Development and Related Agencies Appropriations Act (H.R.4553). They are also expected to consider Congressional Review Acts H.J.Res.104, H.J.Res.105, and H.J.Res.106 to rescind Bureau of Land Management rules modifying land use plans for the Miles City Field Office, the North Dakota Field Office, and Central Yukon.
