Senate: The Senate was in recess.

 

House: The House was in recess.

 

Trump Administration:  On April 9, the White House announced the expansion of a bilateral partnership with Hungary. The partnership includes cooperation in energy, technology, and security in order to promote innovation, stability, and long-term economic and security partnership. 

 

Next week in Washington 

 

Senate: The Senate will reconvene Monday, April 13 and is expected to continue processing nominations. There could be a War Powers Vote on the war in Iran.

 

House: TThe House will reconvene Tuesday, April 14. They could consider Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act reauthorization and Department of Homeland Security omitting funding for ICE and Customs and Border Control. There could be a War Powers Vote on the war in Iran.
