Senate: The Senate began consideration of the Housing for the 21st Century Act (H.R.6644). They failed to pass the Department of Homeland Security government funding bill and a War Powers Resolution on Iran.

 

House: The House passed the Department of Homeland Security government funding bill. They failed to agree to a War Powers Resolution on Iran.

 

Trump Administration:  On March 4, President Trump signed a Ratepayer Protection Pledge Proclamation. The Proclamation brings together AI companies and hyperscalers to protect Americans from electricity price hikes due to data centers.

 

Next week in Washington 

 

Senate: The Senate will reconvene Monday, March 9 and is expected to continue processing nominations and consideration of the Housing for the 21st Century Act (H.R.6644). They could also consider the Department of Homeland Security government funding bill.

 

House: The House is in recess and will reconvene Monday, March 16.
