Melinda Maxfield joined Williams & Jensen in January 2007. She represents clients before Congress on a wide range of legislative issues.
Professional background: Prior to joining Williams & Jensen, Ms. Maxfield served as Deputy Finance Director for the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee under the leadership of Chairman Chuck Schumer (D-NY). In her role Ms. Maxfield served as the DSCC's liaison to Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid and the Democratic leadership team.
During her time in Washington, Ms. Maxfield has also managed the PAC and Grassroots programs at the General Electric Company. In addition, she was Vice President of Campaign Finance Consultants for over five years where she worked with a wide range of Senators as well as other Democratic House members.
Ms. Maxfield earned her B.A. from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas. |
