Jenny B. DiJames

Jenny DiJames joined Williams & Jensen in 2005 and became a Principal in 2008. She represents clients before Congress and the Executive Branch on a diverse range of legislative and regulatory issues.

Professional background: Prior to joining the firm, Ms. DiJames served as Legislative Director for Congressman Bud Cramer (AL), a member of the House Appropriations Committee and the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence. In that role, Ms. DiJames managed the Congressman's overall legislative agenda, with a focus on appropriations.

During her seven years on Capitol Hill with Congressman Cramer, Ms. DiJames worked on a wide range of issues including health care, budget, judiciary, crime and law enforcement, housing, insurance, environment and natural resources, immigration, education, foreign affairs, children's issues, Social Security, and agriculture. She also worked on a variety of appropriations programs and projects through federal agencies including HUD, EPA, Justice, State, Commerce, Small Business Administration, Labor, Health and Human Services, Education, Interior, Homeland Security, Foreign Operations, Agriculture, and the District of Columbia. Ms. DiJames also served as Congressman Cramer's staff liaison for the Blue Dog Coalition.

Ms. DiJames graduated from Birmingham-Southern College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science. She received her law degree from the University of Alabama School of Law, where she was a member of the Phillip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Team. She is a member of the Alabama State Bar.
