Michael is a principal at Williams & Jensen and has a wide-ranging practice that includes work for defense, education, energy, health care, and transportation clients. Michael also has worked successfully with multiple communities on large-scale public-private partnerships, primarily on transportation and water infrastructure, but also on energy efficiency projects. Additionally, Michael has been very involved with the effort by the nation's largest domestic truck manufacturer to provide Mine Resistant Ambush Protected (MRAP) vehicles to our servicemen and women serving in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Michael first became associated with Williams & Jensen in 2003, and has been a Principal since 2005. Prior to joining Williams & Jensen, Michael served in government at both the state and federal levels. For a six year period spanning from 1997 to 2003, Michael worked for Representative Dave Hobson, an Ohio Member of the House Appropriations Committee. Michael also was involved with the writing and enactment of several pieces of health related legislation that improved access to mammography, continued the transition to electronic medical records, provided for continued care in non-profit nursing homes, and ensured continued rural access to anesthesia care.

Before arriving in Washington, Michael worked for former Ohio Governor George V. Voinovich at the state level, and also served at both the Ohio Department of Public Safety and the Ohio Bicentennial Commission.

In addition to his work for Williams & Jensen clients, Michael currently serves as the Treasurer of Williams & Jensen. In his spare time, Michael has designed and constructed Northern Virginia's only solar-powered tree-house.
